Privacy Policy
HandoverKit is currently in early access. There is no live product yet — we're collecting waitlist sign-ups ahead of launch. This policy explains what data we collect during this early access phase, why, and how UK GDPR applies to it.
Who we are
HandoverKit (handoverkit.co.uk) is a pre-launch product for UK subcontractors, currently in an early access / waitlist phase. We are not yet building or delivering handover packs for customers — this site exists to collect early access sign-ups ahead of launch. For any privacy question, contact hello@handoverkit.co.uk.
Information we collect
We collect: (1) the email address you submit on the founding waitlist form; (2) internal analytics events we log ourselves — such as view_pricing, cta_click and email_submitted — together with UTM parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term) and the referring page, so we can see which channels bring people to the waitlist; and (3) Google Ads conversion tracking cookies (via gtag), which only load when ad conversion tracking is enabled for the site. We do not use Google Analytics — our analytics are a first-party event log we built and control.
Cookie choices
We show a cookie banner offering a choice about the optional Google Ads performance-measurement cookies described above — nothing is set until you accept or decline, and declining does not restrict anything else on the site. You can change your mind at any time using the "Cookie choices" link in the footer.
Why we process it, and our legal basis
We use your email to notify you when early access opens and to apply your founding discount — this is based on your consent when you submit the waitlist form. We use analytics events, UTM parameters and Google Ads conversion tracking to understand which marketing channels work and to measure ad performance — this is based on our legitimate interest in running an effective, low-noise early access launch.
Where your data is stored
Waitlist sign-ups and analytics events are stored in Supabase, hosted in the London (EU) region.
Sharing your data
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Data is only shared with the infrastructure providers needed to run this waitlist (such as our database and, where enabled, Google Ads for conversion measurement).
How long we keep it
We keep waitlist and analytics data until we decide whether to launch the product, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever happens first.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to our processing, request a copy in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@handoverkit.co.uk.
